The Queen & Princess Nerd Fund at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore honors the lives of Jamey Lee Griswold Landon, "Queen Nerd", and Brandy Starkey Terrill, "Princess Nerd".

Princess Nerd, Brandy was involved in every aspect of our camp. She gave all she had 24/7 to make our camp a loving, spirited, and creative place for all. Brandy earned two degrees from Salisbury University and her Doctorate at the University of Delaware. Brandy was an Associate Professor in the Department of Early and Elementary Education at Salisbury University. She impacted many lives with her skillful, artistic, creative teaching style that will forever live on in those fortunate to know her. Sadly after fighting very hard to beat an aggressive liver cancer, she passed away in January of 2021.

Queen Nerd, Jamey passed away in January 2012. She was a Maryland State Teacher of the Year, held two Masters in Education, and led Salisbury University’s Women's basketball to a state championship as captain. Despite decades of debilitating and life-threatening health issues, she always came to camp with an amazing attitude that inspired the youngest camper to the oldest staff member.
