Meet Our Amazing Counselors

All our programs are led by an All-Star cast of Certified Teachers and Experienced Camp Leaders.

Amber Collins

COUNSELOR AT GREEN HILL & WDS

Amber has been a camp counselor at Camp Odyssey since she moved to the Eastern Shore in 2018. She loves working with the Sharks at WDS (Sharkbait! Oooo ha ha!) but also loves working with the zany campers at Green Hill! Amber loves camp pool days, fishing at Green Hill, pool noodle hockey, and the I Love Camp festival! Her favorite camp memory was the time the Sharks performed a synchronized dance at the Camp Talent Show! During the school year, Amber teaches Middle School English for Wicomico County.

Grace Ashby

COUNSELOR at green hill & wds

Grace attended Camp Odyssey as a camper when she was just four years old in Setting Sail and continued until she was a teenager. She was also a CIT before becoming a Specialist for Theatre! She is part of the Visual and Performing Arts Program at Wicomico High School and loves being involved in many extracurriculars!

Matt Ryan

COUNSELOR AT GREEN HILL & WDS

Matt Ryan is a teacher at Wicomico Middle. He played tennis at Salisbury University and has been teaching tennis at camp since 2016.

Megan Brown

COUNSELOR AT GREEN HILL & WDS

Megan started as a camper when she was 4 years old and has been a part of camp ever since. She has been a group leader for setting sail, one fish two fish, and red fish blue fish, and ran the dance studio. Megan will be attending Salisbury University in the fall and will be majoring in social work.

Casey Flanagan

COUNSELOR AT WDS

Casey is a preschool teacher at St. Francis de Sales School. She is the volunteer coordinator with the Appalachia Service Project at St. Francis de Sales Church. She loves working with Camp Odyssey and making magic happen in Wacky Science. Her favorite camp festival is Mud Madness and loves being zany with all the campers and counselors.

Courtney Adkins

COUNSELOR AT WDS

Courtney attended Camp Odyssey as a camper 31 years ago and later went on to be a Camp Counselor prior to attending College. She is so excited that she has once again joined the Camp Odyssey family as a Counselor, and is happy that her sons can enjoy the camp experience as well. She teaches Middle School Math in Wicomico County during the school year.

Kristin Mosier

COUNSELOR AT WDS

Kristin has been involved in camps (Camp Odyssey and others) since 1996. She is a staff camp counselor and her favorite day at camp is Mud Madness. She loves being able to help each camper learn more about themselves throughout the course of the summer.

Malori Mosier

COUNSELOR AT WDS

Malori has been going to camps since she was four and is glad she started her first job as a camp counselor. She enjoys playing softball and her favorite days at camp are pool days!

Jack Wright

ADVENTURE CAMP LEADER

Jack is a professional musician who also has 20 years experience from the Beyond the Limits program in facilitating team-building and high ropes challenges. As a young teenager he gained camp experience in the BSA. This is where he learned how to build a rope bridge. He is a graduate of the U of MD, College Park in Physical Education. At Camp Odyssey he enjoys presenting problem-solving activities that challenge the campers physically and mentally and encourage cooperation with others.

Leslie Swift

ADVENTURE CAMP LEADER

Leslie is a leader at Beyond The Limits with experience in cooperative games, high and low challenges, and positive attitudes! Always up for an adventure from fishing to hiking and exploring; we grow through our experiences! What better way to learn than on an adventure!

Patricia McKenzie

Pat is a retired teacher now working part time at Roaring Point Campground and during school helping with PreK at Westside Primary School. Ran Pat's Pre-School in Hebron for 5 years. Taught at Westside Primary 30 years. Hobbies include going to Thrift Shops and reading. Perhaps writing children's books will be a future project. Currently runs a BNB in Nanticoke MD where she lives.
