All our programs are led by an All-Star cast of Certified Teachers and Experienced Camp Leaders.
Patricia McKenzie
school's out HEAD COUNSELOR / SETTING SAIL HEAD COUNSELOR
Pat is a retired teacher now working part time at Roaring Point Campground and during school helping with PreK at Westside Primary School. Ran Pat's Pre-School in Hebron for 5 years. Taught at Westside Primary 30 years. Hobbies include going to Thrift Shops and reading. Perhaps writing children's books will be a future project. Currently runs a BNB in Nanticoke MD where she lives.
Rachel Thomson
WDS COUNSELOR
Rachel is currently the Dean of Students at Salisbury Middle School. She has been a math teacher in Wicomico County for 12 years, and was a Teacher of the Year finalist for the 24-25 school year. She holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Educational Leadership. She loves spending time at the beach or pool with family, reading, painting, and traveling.
Kara Dietrich
WDS COUNSELOR
This is Kara's first year at Camp Odyssey! She is from Baltimore County, and is a PE major at SU and substitute in Wicomico County public schools. She loves sports and being outside!
Brandon Hudson Jr.
WDS COUNSELOR
Brandon is a junior at Wicomico High School. He loves to play basketball, video games, hang out with friends and family, and just enjoy being alone listening to music. He has been in camps since he was 5 years old.

Kayli Shaw
WDS COUNSELOR
Kayli has been with camp for 3 years as a camp counselor. She just graduated from Salisbury University with a degree in elementary education. She will be a 1st grade teacher at Fruitland primary for the upcoming school year. In her free time she loves to play video games, puzzle, read and hang with friends and family.

Chelsea Dillman
WDS COUNSELOR
Chelsea is a Salisbury University Physical Education student, and will be going into her Junior year in the fall. She enjoyed going to camps when she was younger, and in her free time she likes to hang out with friends and family, watch movies, play games, watch and play sports, and hike.
Amber Collins
Adventure Camp COUNSELOR
Amber has worked at camp for the past 7 summers and loves it! She started at WDS and now work at Adventure Camp. When not at camp, she is a teacher for Wicomico County Public Schools. She enjoy spending time with her dogs, traveling, and anything archery related.
Tobias McKinney
Adventure Camp COUNSELOR
Tobias went to Camp Odyssey as a kid. He recently graduated high school at only 16 since he was home schooled!
Kate Oland
WDS Camp COUNSELOR
Kate is senior in high school at The Salisbury School. She has been dancing for 14 years. She has gone to camp since she was in second grade and loves all of the camp friends she has made.
Sarah Augustin

Sarah is a mathematics student at Salisbury University. She also work at Saint Francis De Sales Catholic School where she works at before/after care and substitute. For fun she loves spending time with friends and playing volleyball.
Forrez Davis
WDS Camp COUNSELOR
Forrez is a student at Salisbury Christian School, He attended camp when I was younger and wanted to come back to spread joy with the children. In his free time, he likes to play a lot of basketball.
Megan Brown
COUNSELOR AT GREEN HILL & WDS
Megan started as a camper when she was 4 years old and has been a part of camp ever since. She has been a group leader for setting sail, one fish two fish, and red fish blue fish, and ran the dance studio. Megan attends Salisbury University majoring in social work.
Kristi Capobianco
COUNSELOR AT WDS
Kristi is an assistant teacher at St. Francis de Sales Catholic School in the PreK-3 classroom. She is also working toward her degree in Early Childhood Education at Salisbury University. Her husband, three sons, and dog Sonny love spending as much time as they can walking and biking outdoors. She has so many special camp memories from her childhood and takes joy in helping new generations of campers experience the fun and magic of summer at Camp Odyssey.
Zeke Brush

Zeke is a sophomore at Salisbury University. He is a certified cat herder and professional capture the flag player. This is his 11th year at camp, and his 5th year as a counselor. He hopes everyone always stays zany!
Courtney Adkins
COUNSELOR AT WDS
Courtney attended Camp Odyssey as a camper 31 years ago and later went on to be a Camp Counselor prior to attending College. She is so excited that she has once again joined the Camp Odyssey family as a Counselor, and is happy that her sons can enjoy the camp experience as well. She teaches Middle School Math in Wicomico County during the school year.
Turner Greenhalgh

Turner is a student at James M. Bennett High School. In school, Turner is a soloist in James M. Bennett's Rock and Roll Revival and is in theNational Honor Society. Turner's main hobbies are fishing and going to the beach.
Stephen Nisewaner

Stephen is a senior at SU studying Physical Education. He loves all active and outdoor activities ranging from games and sports to fishing and kayaking.
Kelly Catlin

Kelly is a retired school teacher. When not working at camp, she substitutes in several Wicomico County schools. She enjoys working in her garden, fishing, and spending time outside. She also likes relaxing with a good book.
Steve Cummins

Steve is a student at Salisbury University, studying Outdoor Education and Leadership. He enjoys being on the water in a canoe or kayak, camping, hiking, writing, music, and the art of the Sitcom
Ruth Moncher

Ruth is a student at Stevenson University majoring in psychology and minoring in human counseling services. She has an associate degree in early childhood education. For fun, she likes to read and play Minecraft.

Jack Wright
ADVENTURE CAMP LEADER
Jack is a professional musician who also has 20 years experience from the Beyond the Limits program in facilitating team-building and high ropes challenges. He has been a part of the Wicomico County school system for the last 24 years. As a young teenager he gained camp experience in the BSA. This is where he learned how to build a rope bridge. He is a graduate of the U of MD, College Park in Physical Education. At Camp Odyssey he enjoys presenting problem-solving activities that challenge the campers physically and mentally and encourage cooperation with others.
