Outdoor Adventure Camp

Adventure Campers focus on outdoor experiences fishing, kayaking/canoeing, team challenges, survival skills, swimming, archery, and wetland exploration. The PreK4-K Program at Adventure Camp introduces children to camp. Campers enjoy art, group games, swimming, other activities, and age-appropriate elements such as stories, songs, and rest time.

Outdoor Adventure Camp + Extended Care

Extended care is from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with camp activities from 9 am to 3:00 pm. Adventure Campers focus on outdoor experiences fishing, kayaking/canoeing, team challenges, survival skills, swimming, archery, and wetland exploration. The PreK4-K Program at Adventure Camp introduces children to camp. Campers enjoy art, group games, swimming, other activities, and age-appropriate elements such as stories, songs, and rest time.

Adventure Camp Questions

What are the drop-off and pick-up times?

Drop-off time is 8:30am to 9am (Extended Care 7:30am-8:30am)
Pick-up time is 3 to 3:30pm (Extended Care 3:30pm-5:30pm)

Please enter and exit through the Whitehaven Rd. entrance and follow the signs in. Drop off and pick up will be in the circle at the end of the main driveway. Please drive slowly and be aware of campers, golfers, and wildlife that may be on the road.

What should I bring?

Items to Bring Daily:
- Please bring a lunch, a snack, and a refillable water bottle (Please label the water bottle with the camper's name)
- Sunscreen (please apply before camp) and bug spray (be sure to do tick checks regularly)
- Change of clothes
- Swimsuit, towel, floaties/ life vest, goggles, ear plugs, etc. (Please have campers wear their swimsuit to camp)
- Tennis Shoes that can get dirty and/or water shoes (shoes that can get wet…no Crocs, flip flops)
- Bag for dirty clothes
- Any medications must have written and signed doctor’s instructions
- Please label all personal items belonging to your camper

Setting Sail (PreK 4- Kindergarten) specific:
- Items for rest (small blanket & small pillow)

Adventure Camp specific:
- Long sleeve shirt for archery (optional)
- Fishing pole/ net (optional)

Please be aware of Outdoor Hazards including sun exposure, insects (ticks and mosquitoes), and water hazards.

Can lunch be purchased at camp?

Lunch may be ordered online.

Do campers swim every day?

Yes! Weather permitting, campers get a chance to swim at least once a day.
