*Daily Activities will include Art, Wacky Science, Game Show, and Sports or Dance. All Daily Activities are tailored for each grade group. Special Activities / Festival Activities / All Camp Activities are a chance for every grade group to participate together and change depending on the theme.
Dr. Whoville – Camp loves Dr. Suess (you can tell from the names of our groups) but Dr. Who is also very popular, especially with our older campers. Dress as either doctor, or wear your favorite camp t shirt.
Chunk & Splatter – The entire camp will travel to the Elks pool for swimming, so please equip your camper with everything they will need for swimming: swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes. All campers are swim tested by Elks staff for ‘deep end’ access. During opening, campers will watch as counselors attempt to chunk and splatter expired watermelons. Studios will have chunk themed activities and games all day.
Lemon Lime – Yellow and green are the colors for today.
Treasure – Finding treasure is a dream for many people. We will attempt to find treasure today as we search for buried gold and follow clues to discover where other treasure is hidden. In the afternoon, we will have a Special Activity, in which, the whole camp comes together outside for Treasure inspired games, activities and music.
Dino-Might Safari – Safaris are cool, and dinosaurs are awesome. Having a safari with dinosaurs is just a good idea. Campers will have the chance to go on a safari today during festival and witness firsthand dinosaurs that were previously extinct and some are brand new! You may dress as your favorite dino or as an explorer.
*Please bring a lunch everyday! *Please pack a snack for your child to eat at group time since we burn lots of calories during the day. We also encourage you to send water/drinks with your child to keep them hydrated throughout the day. We have water fountains throughout the camp for them to use as well.
*Bug Spray & Sunscreen- Parents, please teach your child how to apply and reapply their sunscreen so they can bring it to camp if you wish.
*Please contact us for any questions.
