A DAY IN A LIFE OF A CAMPER
Campers are dropped off by their parents at 8:30AM. They are escorted to their age group room by a counselor or a counselor in training. In their age group room they play games and prepare for the day.
At 9:00AM all campers head to the gym for opening which introduces the theme of the day. It’s a bit of a show put on by the Program Director, counselors, counselors in training and occasionally even campers.
Following the opening campers will walk with their age group to their different studios for the day. Studios are activity periods where campers will get to play, explore and have fun. Some of our studios are Wacky Science, Art, Sports/Dance, and team building studios.
Campers will eat lunch and snacks in their age group room with their counselors.
After lunch are the special programs that are organized by the Program Director. During crazy time each counselor will lead a different game or activity for campers, for example one counselor may lead a soccer game on the field and another would lead making friendship bracelets. Your child will get to choose what they would like to do during crazy time. Special Activity and Festivals are larger, outdoor programs. There is music playing while campers go to stations that campers to try games, face painting, and so much more! These usually take up all afternoon.
Then campers are picked up at the end of the camp day by their parents.
